Same club, same content, same brand colours — just rebuilt with proper typography, real photography of the course, and a layout that works on a phone. Members can now find tee times and events without zooming in.

How we measure

Performance: Google Lighthouse score. Blend of load speed, responsiveness and visual stability — out of 100.
LCP: Largest Contentful Paint. Time until the biggest image or text block is visible. Under 2.5 s is good.
Page weight: Total download size on first load — HTML, CSS, JS, fonts and images. Smaller is faster, especially on mobile.
Mobile usable: Whether the site passes Google’s mobile-friendly test: readable text, tappable buttons and no sideways scrolling.

Halifax Country Club

A 1930s private golf club in Halifax, VA still running a pale-yellow GeoCities-era site. Rebuilt from scratch with a serif identity, full-bleed course photography and a clear membership / events / contact structure — without losing any of the member-facing content.
